You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. some may be significant only to you. some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience. - President Hinckley

School Starts....

Gwendalin starts 1st Grade this year with Mrs. Aterberry. Hunter starts 4th grade and has Mrs. Sebesta. I have heard good and bad things about both teachers. I know my kids are good and hopefully will love their experiences. I worry most about Hunter - 2 years ago he had a horrible experience to the point that he was wanting to stay home every day. (that is very unlike him- he LOVES to go to school- to play). I talked with the teacher and we pushed through it but last year he had a GREAT teacher who loved him and he adored her. She genuinely loved to teach and it was reflected in the student's desire to do well to please her. I just don't want him to have a bad experience. I can't fight all of their battles, but I would like to. Just like I'm sure our Father in Heaven feels. He would probably love to intervene on many occasions, but He lets us work through it and grow. So, here are my cuties - my angels as I call them on the first day....Father's blessings last night promised great experiences...so here's to a GREAT year!

Yay for School! I am sitting here with 2 at school, my twinners napping, and Heidi is quietly playing at the table....so quiet. It's so wonderful (though I miss the freedom that summer brings).
Anyway, your kids should do great! I love Hunter's Boise State hat. They are in the Mountain West now, which is exciting for football fans (plenty of them around here, let me tell you).

I have to tell you, last night we were walking and I asked Kenna how she liked Mrs. Atterberry and she said, "she's really nice." Then I told her that is who Gwennie has, I swear the child lit up like a fire cracker!!! She started jumping around and thought that Gwennie was the luckiest girl on the planet. Thought you'd like to know... I think she just started off defensive with me as a parent, which I can understand too... it will be a great year for her!!
