You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. some may be significant only to you. some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience. - President Hinckley

Escuela....

Hunter started middle school this year at Eagle Middle.  We spent lots of time making sure he knew how to do his locker.  He walked to the bus stop and didn't want me or Travis to walk with him.  I just had to watch him walk away at 7:10 in the morning....it was killer
Dallin started preschool a week after the other kids started school..it was rough to have to wait while they got to go.  He still went and still does go with them to the bus stop every morning.
Gwendalin started 3rd grade with Mr. Clark, Tyler started 1st grade with Mrs. Atterberry.  I didn't follow their bus to school either...big step for me.  They all looked so good!

A Stop at Grandpa Cub and Grandma Coy's

On the way home from Bethie's funeral we stopped to see GM and GP.  I loved to see them....this death has been so hard especially on GP (GM doesn't really know what's going on - although she was very alert when we stopped in).  We told her her hands looked like Beth's.

I love this picture of mom and GM.  I love the look on GM face and her hand on mom's cheek...I just love it!

And this guy!  love love him!

Bethie Bethie Lou...

My Sweet Aunt Beth passed away on August 18.  She had fought a battle with breast cancer for 2-3 years and finally went home.  I was able to go down to her funeral (in what feels like a blur- it was a fast fast trip 4 days and 34 hours in the car).  The funeral was beautiful - her kids were beautiful.  She is beautiful!  What a life - what an example and what an inspiration of leaving wanting to be better.  She lived like we all should live.  I was blessed to know her.

A visit with Grandma and Grandpa

Grandpa Chesley came up (with Grandma of course) to put on a missionary fireside for Travis (he is the ward mission leader).  We got to enjoy their company all weekend...movies, games, hugs, hair dos, etc.  We don't see them nearly enough!

Sunday at our house...

I hurt my back really bad (turns out it was a bulged disc pressing on a nerve- it was awful) anyway I was homebound Sunday and stayed home from church.  I was sitting on the couch and took pictures of all my handsome kids.  They were called up during sacrament meeting to recieve their "100 DAY PRAYER/SCRIPTURE/FHE"  award...Travis was thrilled that he got to go up too (insert sacrasm here).   But Lucky and Judy were here so they got to see them all go up on the stand as well!  We rewarded the kids earlier in the week with a family trip to Roaring Springs Water Park!

Freeze Time!!!

These 2 have a love/hate relationship....but they are always doing things together and I wish I could freeze those moments.  I walked while they rode their bikes to Maverik...it was awesome.  And the neighbor let them ride his go cart on Dallin's birthday...what a treat!!!

A Very Dallie Birthday!

McDillie turned 5 on 8/8.  It was a special day because Grandma and Grandpa Chesley came into town and he was able to have dinner at Golden Corral with that set of Grandparents.  He was in heaven! I can't believe he is 5!  FIVE!  It seems like yesterday he was in my stomach crazy as crazy can be...so active....still so active.    He was able to ride the neighbor's go cart too, which he thought was the cream on top of his already great day! He knows all of the articles of faith and sings them all the time (this is always a hit in his primary class- they love it), he gives kisses all the time to everyone, he loves to ride his bike, and loves to go to grandma and grandpa's house.
