You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. some may be significant only to you. some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience. - President Hinckley

Sunday Afternoon

Dallin isn't feeling well, and Hunter is totally wiped out.  Makes for a quiet Sunday afternoon.  And Gwennie got the cutest new shoes yesterday that she wore to church.

Miss pretty dancer!

Gwendalin had her winter dance recital and did a fantastic job.  She is just gorgeous at both styles of dance that she does and so fun to watch.  I took Tyler with me because Travis was out of town with Dallin.

NCIS

Travis and I love the show NCIS - and so do his parents.  So for Christmas they got him this NCIS shirt. I think he looks pretty darn good in it! :)

WorkOut Room

Travis walled off the 3rd bay of our garage and finished it quite nicely to accommodate our workout equipment and I've been using it regularly each morning .  It is such a nice space and equally as great- the dead animals are in there and not in my house!

Tubing @ Bogus!

The kids didn't have school for Martin Luther King Jr. Day , so we booked a two hour slot to go tubing at Bogus Basin - just above Boise.  It was so much fun,  the kids went down the hill spinning so fast , Travis and I even did it and there was a rope tow that brought us back to the top.  The day was beautiful and we loved spending time as a family.

Volleyball

Hunter went and tried a volleyball league out.  He really liked it and wanted to sign up but when we found out the cost ($800) he understood why we didn't decide to actually do it.  But he had a lot of fun that night.

Broken Heart

Tyler came home from school today and was really upset when he got in the house.  When I asked him why he just started to cry and we walked into the bathroom and shut the door (shortly after Travis joined us).  He said that Meredith (the girl he liked and had been "going out with") dumped him and he was just heart broken over it.  I just hugged him and told him that it would get better with time and Travis told him that he understood and that it would probably happen again in his life and that love hurts.  Poor sweet boy, it was heart wrenching.  And he's such a sweet kid, Meredith has no idea what she's missing.

"Your Mom"

Found this written on the stucco on the side of my house.....Dallin admitted it was him.  I just laughed and hope that it will last forever.

New YEAR 2016!

We spent the new year in Salt Lake City.  Dallin wrestled at the Salt Lake Slam - it was an awesome tournament and a super fun weekend for our family and the Gibbens family.  We went and did temple square, we swam, we drank sparkling cider, it was good bonding time.  Dallin ended up taking 2nd.
