You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. some may be significant only to you. some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience. - President Hinckley

He dressed up!

Travis is NOT a guy to dress up for Halloween. In fact, I've only see him do it 3 times now. Including the below picture. One was just after he came off his mission and he wore scrubs...that doesn't really count...but he was courting me and must've felt he had to go on the double date and therefore dressed up - it worked out though because that was the night he purposed. :) Anyway, we had a Halloween party for the ward on Friday night - mom rounded up the shirts we wore and I got Travis a nice wig. We went and stayed 1 hour...that's a record and then we snuck out as to not get noticed by the host - who would likely make us stay. It was fun. what you can't see on my costume is the bright red tights I have on to match the wig mom had. :)

The kids had fun at the trunk or treat....scored lots of candy in record time and on the way home Gwendalin threw up all over her Belle dress and then on the side of the road...poor thing. She spent most of the night up puking. So, today I am home from church with her and Dallin becuase last week i had to teach RS and Travis stayed home with a puking Tyler and the D boy. We like to invite all kinds of excitement into our lives. Any who- HAPPY HALLOWEEN to all!

Texas was some sort of Batman that I found at DI for $2 - Hunter was a soccer player from Italy with a wig, Gwendalin was Belle, and the Doodle was a pumpkin. Tyler wore his almost every day this week with his friends next door in theirs as well....how fun to be a kid and dress in costume every day!

A Wolf Among Us

Hunter earned his Wolf rank in Cub scouts yesterday! Great job bud! He got his wolf and a gold and two silver arrow points! (bad part is now I have to sew them on....) anyway - he worked really hard and grandma and grandpa showed up with a great suprise a BMX bike! He was thrilled to pieces since his old bike was a hand me down and really wasn't working well anymore....congratulations dood- good job!

Sad Boys...

I couldn't resist these pictures. Tyler was upset because he and Gwendalin were fighting and I made them hug for too long.

Who knows what was wrong with the doodle here, but I had to take a picture...too cute not to.

A Gwennie Girl's Birthday

Gwendalin turned 6 on Sunday! We did a party with a few of her friends on Saturday. I made sure I planned for 1 1/2 hours and every minute was packed so we could be entertained and then done! They docorated plastic goblets, made necklaces, and cut out sugar cookies. I think it turned out great! Grandma and Grandpa came over on Sunday for Gwennie's choice of Pizza for dinner and then we played games!

The last of the Great Outdoors....

We took a final camping trip last week because the kids had 2 days off of school and because the campgrounds are going to close soon. Mom and dad will likely be gone next year and we won't be able to use their trailer if they take it, so we took advantage of one more trip. It was FREEZING! But still so fun. Hunter started fires, made fishing poles from long tree branches and wire coat hangers, the kids played games, played in the water, slept in the car, and got lots of dirty! It was super fun and memories were made! We took pictures by the well at the campground - my parents have similar shots of us in Colorado- so we thought it would be fun to have these to compare with.

We took a drive up the mountain on one afternoon so mom could take a nap...my kids napped too, in the car- I had to uncover Hunter's head...he had burried it in the blanket.

Grandma got a new phone with games on it - the kids loved taking turns playing!
