You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. some may be significant only to you. some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience. - President Hinckley

Wicked Weekend!

My mom, sisters, Marie, and sister-in-law Brittany went to Los Angeles , CA for the weekend. It was a girls only weekend without any kids. It was soooo much fun! We spent a lot of time laughing, driving, navigating, avoided crashes on the freeway of people who thought it was ok to come across the median and get back into the opposite direction of traffic......, we cried, we played, shopped, you name it we did it! Marie brought her shellac nail stuff so we all had our fingernails shellacked! So, lovely! We went to downtown L.A. on Friday and did some shopping in the fabric and fashion districts. I compare this to shopping in Tijuana Mexico - you can barter for your price and there are screaming good deals! Lynn and Marie even found a guy - "Speedy" who took them to a separate location to view some "knock off" bags and purses. Marie was pretty shaken by the whole experience - thought Speedy was going to take all there money and leave them to die. While I would've likely peed my pants in this situation, Marie and Lynn kept it together....and returned to the fold! We enjoyed going to the show "WICKED!" on Saturday night - it was so fun and so entertaining....we were all sooooo tired from the mall shopping, L.A. shopping etc. that we came home after the show and CRASHED! GRRRReat weekend! Let's do it again!~
