You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. some may be significant only to you. some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience. - President Hinckley

Angels Lounging

Here are some pictures of my angels. They know that they are my angels because I tell them all the time that they are my angels from Heavenly Father. They correct me if call them some other nickname - I love it! They make my life interesting, they make me laugh...they have been known to make me cry on occasion - but regardless I will keep all of them. They are such good little spirits - much wiser than I - I am sure of this because they are leaps and bounds ahead of where I was at their ages, and they have such wisdom in their eyes. I snapped some pictures in the last few weeks of them doing what they do.

Here is Tyler relaxing in the bath - and don't ask him to get out before he's done, because it's his therapy. He will get out when he's good and ready. He's such a tender little dude. In fact, at night Dallin gets out of his bed every 33 seconds and the other night Tyler happened to get up and was playing with him- being older and wiser- he heard Travis coming and ran to get back in his bed. Dallin wasn't so lucky. But when Travis asked Tyler if he'd been playing with Dallin when he should have been in bed, his response (after multiple attempts at prodding for answers) he hung his head and said "yes, but only for three minutes..." Travis had trouble keeping composed...it was so cute. And just having Travis upset for him being out of his bed- he was broken hearted....poor little guy. He does not like to be in trouble.

Now Dallin loves loves loves to get out of bed at night and even during the day, and try on coats and shoes (preferably Gwendalin's shoes) you'll notice in many of the pictures he has on someone else's shoes, and usually someone else's coat too. It's okay and actually very cute until he goes outside in the FREEZING with just his diaper and a pair of Gwendalin's shoes on.

He always has to wait outside with Gwennie when she catches her bus for school. And when she's gone (or any of the siblings gone to school for that matter) he names them and cries for them to come home. "I want Hunter..." etc. He loves them - He's been having some SeRIouS grandma and grandpa withdrawal too! We call them almost on a daily basis (multiple times) just to keep him at peace with the fact that they are gone.

Lynn and Jake helped us out with an iPod touch for Christmas this year and they kids LOVE it. In fact, so does Travis. They love angry birds ( it's some game where you shoot birds at pigs or something) - anyway, they have to take turns using it. But they do pretty well.
We made brownies one afternoon and Tex got to lick the beaters. He didn't even know he got some on his face...but he was willing to let me snap a cute shot of his taste testing.

I got a "belly dancing belt" for my Zumba class. It's super fun to have on for the song we use it one and my kids LOVE it too. They take turns trying it on and shaking their hips. Here's Dallie doing his best- with Gwennie's shoes on to complete the look.

Here's the princess. We put her hair up in knots for bed and she had nice little waves of curl for the next day. She is so darling. In fact, she told me the other day that she was glad she didn't sit by Ethan anymore. I asked her why and she told me "because he's attracted to me..." I couldn't help but laugh . she's so adult. She loves to mother Dallin and play school with Tyler and the neighbors that he plays with. She reminds me so much of me!

And my oldest Angel - he has become quite the little man. He sits in on Chess lessons that happen around here and loves to soak up all he can about the game. He is also becoming a master soccer player - he's doing indoor right now and he's so much fun to watch. He never studies for school, but comes home with flawless work (except the handwriting) - he's a smart little cracker. He is doing super dooper on the piano and cruising right along, asking every day why it's so important. I assure him that it is and that no one who ever quit piano at his age is glad they did - in fact, most wish they stuck with it. So he appeases me and goes to his lesson, practices, and continues to get better and better. His room on the other hand.......not so good at keeping clean...but we are working on it- it's a process.
