Slade Trip/Gathering

At the end of July we all got together...the Slade's that is....it was so much fun. Everyone came except for Scott, Brittany, and Jackson...but next time they'll be there. We stayed up in a beautiful cabin north of where we live in Star. The cabin was great except for the fact that there was no A/C and it was mid/end July...it made for very cranky people at times. :) We survived though. We spent time playing games after the kids went to bed. The kids had water fights with the uncles...we went on rhino rides, we made smores, we played we threw rocks in the river....we did a carnival (thanks to Mom and Lynn) it even had a prize booth, the kids watched a frog in the doorway one night...ahhh good times, oh and I beat Travis at a game of P-I-G...it was a great success and we got a quick snapshot in before everyone had to part ways....you can tell the sun was so bright we did it in the middle of the day- but it was still great!
