You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. some may be significant only to you. some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience. - President Hinckley

Oh the wind....

Last week it was a windy enough day that we got out the kites. There is something about flying a kite that makes the world a better place. It was so much fun to fly kites with my kids and be barefoot and love every minute. DAllin let go at one point while I let him have a turn and I had to chase the thing down the street and yank it off of the neighbor's rooftop. He thought it was hilarious.

It's this crazy wind that only the day before had caused a ligthening started fire to blow craizily in different directions and nearly burn down one of our good friend's homes and also 5000 acres of land.

I seriously love that neighborhood. What a fun day, and look how totally BLACK the street is! Man they did a good job on that- I do NOT understand how Dally can stand on it barefoot! OUCH! Fun times!
