You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. some may be significant only to you. some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience. - President Hinckley

Aunt Lynn Visits!

Lynn came up for a week after 4th of July. It was so much fun!  The kids swam, slept over, held their brand new cousin, Anderson,  swam some more, played, put on a talent show (of which one of the acts was Tyler doing "armpit farts while Jack danced")  the talent was unbelievable!  Hunter, being slightly older than the rest, spent a lot of his time doing airsoft wars with the neighborhood boys....he got all camoed up and everything.

Tyler is the big 7!

This sweet boy turned 7 on July 14.  I cannot believe he is 7!  It seems like yesterday I was getting him here...What a wise spirit he has.  He is full of love especially for the Lord.  He wants to be good and he tries to be a good example to everyone.  He loves video games (he got an ipod touch for this birthday).  He loves for things to be 'JUST RIGHT' or he gets very upset!  He told his primary teacher that she looked like his kindergarten teacher and Sister Winward said "Is your school teacher pretty, then?" to which he replied "No, she looks like you...."   Sister Winward adores Tyler.  He has the patience of a saint until you push him one bit too far and then he lets you have it.  The other day we were talking about someone passing away and I said it was time for this person to go "home."  Hunter was confused and wondered where "home" was and Tyler just said "I knew what she meant....home with Heavenly Father."  love. that. boy.

Tyler's 7 Birthday Party

I don't know how Tyler is already 7 years old , but he is.  We had his birthday party with friends and cousins at a trampoline place called "Jump Time"- we jumped for an hour and then came home for pizza, cake, and presents.  It was super fun!don

4th of July in Star

We started our 4th of July with a little Star parade!  I bough the kids some snappers/poppers that they snapped while we waited for the parade to start.  It was a lot of fun!  Later in the afternoon, they were being little buggars- and I checked out and laid down on my bed.  When I got up- they had left me this little note.  Melted my heart.

Gwendlain and her friend Elena did their tap routine from Dance for the city talent show that evening before the fireworks began.  They took 3rd place in their age group.
We did our own little fireworks show with Trish and Matthew before walking over to the park to watch the city's show.  The kids loved it.

During the city's firework show - Tyler and Maesyn were "magicians" and when they waved and moved their arms, the fireworks would shoot into the air.  When it was over Tyler commented to mom, dad, us, and Gibbens that "his work here was done."  such a funny kid!  He held Maesyn's hand while we walked home to make sure she was safe and when Trish told him thank you - his reply "It was my pleasure."

Engine and Caboose...

Dallin got in bed with Hunter and they were like this when I checked on the before I went to bed.  So sweet!

Fun in the sun...who knew?

I spent $65 on this swimming pool.  My kids have loved having it in our backyard!  I just put a little chlorine thing in there floating around and bam!  good to go.  I never knew $65 could buy such happiness.  :)
