You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. some may be significant only to you. some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience. - President Hinckley

Holy 12 Batman!

Yes, that's right....Hunter is 12.  Yes, 12.  Tomorrow he will be recognized in front of the congregation in our ward as the newest deacon in our ward.  He will go to deacon's quorum with Travis (Travis is the counselor in YM over Deacons).  He had a great birthday - checked out of school at lunch, lunch with Travis, Dallin, and I.  The afternoon out of school.   New scriptures, new singlet, scripture pen, new socks, shirts, gun, possibly a new hunting dog ( if we decide to do that).  It was  a great day for him.  Travis and I are so proud of him - he is a good boy with a heart of gold!  I love that Heavenly Father trusted us with him and I'm a bit sad that I only have 6 more years with him before his mission.
