You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. some may be significant only to you. some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience. - President Hinckley

Carving Pumpkins

My poor kids got humbugs for parents.  Travis and I neither one like the process of carving pumpkins....but our kids do, we let them pick pumpkins early in the month to carve later. and then the week of Halloween we carved them....Travis and I debated cancelling the whole ordeal but I think we would have had a mutiny on our hands....the kids had a blast....I hated the mess and the smell, but they loved it and got along so it was a smashing success and I got over my freakiness....:)
