You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. some may be significant only to you. some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience. - President Hinckley

Meet 'Lil Bass

Two years ago (July 2011) the kids earned free goldfish from a summer reading program at the library.  We ended up bringing 4 home (one for each child) and our neighbors gave us 2.  We had 6 fish at one point.  They all died off one by one and this guy  - well, we were sure he was a gonner as he lasted the longest and then began swimming sideways with his gills top/bottom of tank rather than side to side.  It was the craziest thing...we were just waiting for it to die.  But alas, it did not.  And here we are 2 1/2 years later same fish.  He has his own tank and has grown immensely.  Travis has named him 'Lil Bass and so he remains...huge goldfish.  We will now be sad when passes away.
