You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. some may be significant only to you. some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience. - President Hinckley

Preschool Graduation

Dallin did a little presentation and then was awarded "diplomas" with the rest of his classmates.  He stated that when he grows up he wants to "be cleaning his room...."  so cute!  He didn't really care what Miss Emily was telling him he just wanted his paper and off he went. :)

School sit up record!

During the last awards assembly they allowed all the grade record holders male and female to try to break their own records in front of the whole student body.  Hunter was the record holder for boys in 5th grade...his teacher Mrs. Sarty counted while his buddy Jeremiah held his feet....he did an amazing job - didn't break his record, but he did it right and he was super fast!

Kindergarten Graduation

Tyler was in a program with his AM class for school.  He had a little solo part during one of the songs and it was adorable!  HE IS ADORABLE!  He was the last one to get his "certificate" so he was a lone man on the risers while he waited for his turn....really cute program!

5th Grade Program...

So, the 4th and 5th grade put on a cute patriotic style program....Hunter was a soldier during one of the songs "Soldier, Soldier" there was a cute girl that sang to him "...soldier soldier will you marry me?"  It was adorable.  There was a portion where everyone in the show and watching did the twist...you gotta admit - my Hunter is such a looker! love him.

Preschool Zoo Trip

I was able to go with Dallin and his preschool class to the zoo the week before school got out.  It was a fun trip and we were able to do it in an hour so we could get back to pick Tyler up from Kindergarten .  Dallin's really good friend from preschool is Ryan Furhiman - there are 2 pictures of them together below.  He is really sad because Ryan is moving to Kuna and won't be here to play with so close anymore.

Fun time with Grandma!

Grandma was having some feet trouble so the neighbor let her use his little scooter...super fun!  So thoughtful.  While she was relatively immobile Gwendalin went over and played cards with her...one of her favorite things to do with Grandma!  I happened to snap a shot.

Arrow Of Light

Hunter got his Weeblo award from Boy Scouts and also got his Arrow of Light!  I am so proud of him.  He got to walk across a bridge and then was presented with a pretty cool arrow for his arrow of light.  Good job bud!

Shopping Adventures

Winco has these crazy carts to ship with where there is a seat for two attached to the regular shopping cart.  My boys got tired of sitting in it like they should so they laid down where their feet should have been and rested their feet up on the rear end part of the seat...we strolled through the store like this  - I got some crazy looks.  After we left - on our way home- they both crashed in the car!

5th Grade Helper

Fifth grade teachers never need help from parents....the end of the year "MONSTER" project required some parent help....I was thrilled to be able to go help Hunter's class for a bit!  It was fun to see him in his element and watch his cute little self do his work.

Mother's Day Tea

Tyler had Mother's Day Tea today.  I was invited (with Dallin as well) to go hear him sing several patriotic songs (all memorized) and present me with a laminated picture of what he likes to do with me ("Go on walks...")  I loved it.  We got to see the baby chicks that they hatched in his class and he even got to hold one of them.  It was a fun little program.

Pretty darn easy to look at!

This was me snapping a shot of Travis moving the ramrod the other day at the shop....he was helping a buddy of his (Justin Bledsoe) put in a new tree at his house...it was windy and he was willing to help anyway....he's so stinking good looking!

Wrestling party at DartZone!

The kids got to go to DartZone last night for the end of season wrestling party!  They had a blast shooting nerf guns at their teammates and eating pizza.  Gwendalin even got to go.  Hunter got the "most improved wrestler" award , Dallin got the "natural instinct" award, and Tyler got an award for participating.  He was upset that he didn't get another award like Hunter and Dallin (who also got a participation award) - he didn't enjoy the sport as much as Dallin and Hunter did.   There was a giant hug after it was done with Coach Jerry!  He is an amazingly talented coach and the kids love him.

Best SaTuRDay !

Since we didn't have a wrestling tournament on Saturday we got the garage cleaned and then just took it easy the rest of the day.  Travis brought Jethro out to lay on the mattress we are getting rid of  and then he played Monopoly with Hunter and Jocilyn.  I loved every minute.

Dinosaur Day!

There was a dinosaur exhibit that came through town last weekend.  Travis heard the advertisement on the radio for it and he knew Tyler would LOVE it.  He loves dinosaurs and quotes facts about them all the time.  So, we bought tickets to go on Friday afternoon and since Travis was working I took Tyler and Dallin.  It was pretty neat, they had moving displays, sounds, and life sized replicas.  The boys were able to ride a T- Rex, play dino mini golf, and lots of other cool stuff.  It was amazing!
