You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. some may be significant only to you. some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience. - President Hinckley

Pony Up!!! & All Aboard!!!

We spent our last day in California at a park riding horses (Hunter did not appreciate it when the horse ran- and you can tell in the picture) and riding a small train. We ended with a nice little lunch picnic....what beautiful day!

Chillaxin....

So, we spent a lot of time at Trish and Matthew's apartment. Hanging out, watching American's Funniest Home Videos eating vacation food, playing in the room full of mattresses....etc. It was a good time. And of course there were some tired kiddies that sometimes fell asleep in the car.

The Mountain!

Over Thanksgiving we took our family and went to southern California to visit Tricia and Matthew and their girls. We were able to go to Magic Mountain 2 days in a row! Wednesday (day before Thanksgiving) and on Thursday (Thanksgiving day). It was so fun! I spent most of the time in Kiddie Land with Dallin and Tyler. As did Trish with Maesyn. I don't have very many pictures of Gwendalin and Hunter because they went with Matthew and did quite a few of the bigger rides. I do love the pictures I did get though - I have a one of Tyler and one of Dallin during a roller coaster ride that I love the looks on their faces! It was such a great time! On Thanksgiving morning, Travis and I did one ride together (X2).....it is quite a thrill ride....and it was sooooooooooooo fun! We bought our "photo" when we got off the ride. I have it framed by my kitchen sink now. I don't have a scanner or I would have it on this post as well. Lots of pictures showing the kids with their "hands up" as they rode the rollie coasters - as Dallin called them. Tyler was big enough to do all the kiddie rides and a few of the bigger coasters....he looks so little in the big coaster seats...but he had a BLAST! What a fun time! I love my little family!
