You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. some may be significant only to you. some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience. - President Hinckley

Some Painting Photos...

The Master Bed/Bath before...

This looks very much more 'yellow' than it really is...it's the same color as the tan in the bedroom....

The Entry Before...(that brown banner is a scripture out of Joshua)

The entry after I had it painted....

It opened it up SOOOOOOOOOOO much!

Neighborhood Entertainment!

We provided neighborhood entertainment yesterday when our friend who owns and operates a crane came to help us move our shed and our swingset to the house we are moving to next door. It was the coolest ever to watch these rather large items dangle above the rooftops and be lowered to the ground without any harm or incident. I captured a few pictures just because I was so intrigued by the whole thing... I was not the only one snapping shots...a few of the neighbors had their cameras out too. We've never had issues with our HOA but since we have begun this move we've been fined for moving the shed, and having a trailer on the street (we've been loading and loading it...duh...) Anyway, we are currently trying to work with an attorney to figure out what our rights are with regards to the stupid HOA.

This is our trusty crane operator! Thanks Kevan!

And here's the spot in our new yard where the playset ended up.
Here it is in its spot - where it has lied for the last 5 years.

Here's the shed out the window of the house we are currently in....This thing weighed 3500 pounds....
Here's its first landing so the crane could readjust to get it in the right spot.

And its final resting place in our new yard.

He strikes again!

I love this boy. He is my boy that has a corner of his blanket that has a name it's called his "kung kung." This is my boy that when it's dark he says "I can't see my Dallie!" And this is my boy that loves to lock any door he can and since 2 of his siblings have knobs where the lock faces that hall - they are locked in on a regular basis. Or if you go in the garage expect to be locked out there when you attempt re-entry into the house. He loves to lock everything! I have had to stash keys/screwdrivers everywhere so I can unlock at a moment's notice. Tonight - while Texas was in the bath - this little Dallie plugged the bathroom sink (where the plunger was dripping dry after a toilet fiasco), turned the water on and locked the door and left. I heard the water running after I got out of Hunter's room (where I had been locked in (lucky for me I had my cell and called Travis to come and let me out)) and I went to turn it off - but what? the bathroom door was locked....so I get the key out of the closet and find as I open the door that the sink is overflowing water all over the floor.......................so, this little boy that I love "my dallie" got to have some time out.

I love this boy.

The Wise Man and the Foolish Man...

This was our FHE last night. We opened a Valentine box from GM and GP Chesley and we did an object lesson on the Wise Man and the Foolish Man ( I copied the idea from someone else) - it was fun! Hard to explain to my kids what the "house" represents and why we should build on a rock and not the sand. But it was fun nonetheless. (my pictures got out of order)

Princess Hair...

This is our princess. She loves to be girl - all girl. For the last few days she has worn her hair princess style. I love it because I can see her pretty face....and it's super cute!

Shall we say...OH MY?!

Monday morning:

Tyler opens the garage door and looks in the garage. Turns around and says "Uh, mom...."
It's that kind of "uh mom" that you never want to hear. I look out the door and see my car half way off my driveway with Dallin in the driver seat. Somehow he had gotten it in Neutral and rolled it out of the garage....nice.....really nice...

(this picture is re-staged....I didn't take one of the exact moment)

"One shoe could change your life...." -Cinderella

My little Dallie Doodle loves shoes. I have taken a moment to capture him in a few settings with different shoes on. Sometimes 2 different shoes....I love this kid!
